KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR II

This is a sequel or continuation of the previous posting I did on “The Cradle of Civilization” to make do with the idea of how our “baby in the cradle” grew up amazingly well to manhood amidst the Jurassic parks of numerous wicked humans as well as wild beasts of antiquity… And it was a great experiment of the Creator of the universe concerning his gift of freewill to man, to wit: the most important king of the Second Empire that subdued the Assyrians was the Neo-Babylonian Empire, King Nebuchadnezzar II, who reigned from 605 -562 BC, or BCE. His brilliance as a military leader and his architectural accomplishments are well known to us today

The question arises who among men is chosen to be king?  Who is the power above man who determines destiny? Obviously, it is not man, not his lower being, but his higher Self that speaks to him...From the primordial waters of unity flows the eternal emergence; "Deep, dark unfathomable primal waters, I Am. Tenderly do i cradle you in the mystery of becoming, the nourishment from my primordial depths. Go to the abundant wellspring of the life force to find the nourishment for which you yearn. .In trust and receptiveness is found the source of movement."   This is energy, and there's nothing between heaven and earth but energy.  Energy carries the law and the law regulates energy.  This can be drawn from astrophysics, quantum physics, but we'll end the scientific discussion here for the rest comes from your perceptive reality.  The ancients knew that supernatural power belongs to a god/goddess who then bestows the gift of freewill to man so he is free to exploit his potential to be great, based on his set of values, his standards, his choices. It appears then that this is The planet of choice because it is governed by the universal law of destiny  and free will.

The picture of Ishtar Gate in Babylon is shown here as the eight gate to the inner city of the Walls of Babylon, constructed by order of King Nebuchadnezzar in about 575 BC.  This one, is the most dramatic findings on the Art of ancient Babylon where a forum of archeologists, archeologinetics meet mythology and  shamanism to explore the true history of early man. Ishtar Gate depicts only gods and goddesses which include Ishtar, Adad and Marduk statues of the dieties that were paraded down the Processional Way each year during the new Year's celebration in ancient Babylon, now modern day Iraq. The Gate of Ishtar is a major visitors' attraction in the Berlin Museum.

King Nebuchadnezzar built one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,” The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. He improved the canals and restored old religious monuments, he was truly a Christian king, in the sense that upon ascending on the throne he spoke to the gods, in his inaugural address, saying:
Oh merciful Marduk, may the house that I have built endure forever, may I be satiated with its splendor, attain old age therein with abundant offspring and receive therein, the tribute of the kings of all regions, from all mankind.”
In the forty- three years of his reign, King Nebuchadnezzar made the most of his time employing a vast army of slave labor from conquered people to surround his city with walls so thick that chariot races were conducted around the tops of them which stretched fifty six miles in length encircling an area of two hundred square miles. The bricks of the walls were painted bright-blue and bore the inscription, “I am Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon.”
He warred with, and defeated Egypt, Tyre, Edom, and Judeah. Among his many military conquests was the destroying of Jerusalem in 586 BC, taking its occupants the Jews captive, and brought them to Babylon (modern day Iraq).   This period of the Hebrews who pursued an Abrahamic faith, patriarchal in nature based on the Torah is known as the ‘‘Babylonian Captivity”.  It is chronicled in the Book of Daniel in the Bible and was foretold in the book of Jeremiah.
As King Nebuchadnezzar grew popular in might, he also grew very prideful.  As a warning to us, God used the king by punishing him. To those who call themselves “unchurched” taking up thoughts of existence from the Buddhist mahatmas, reading on the old testament as it coincides with world history may not diminish their  independence instead it may even enhance their “unbiased” learning by  taking seriously the history of the world into account.
Pride is one of those things God hates (Proverbs 8: 13). As fate/karmic law would have it, God drove Nebuchadnezzar from ruling men, and made him dwell among the beasts of the field.  He roamed in the wild land and was forced to eat grass for seven years. Finally he was brought ‘to his senses’, when he acknowledged God as the king of heaven, “because everything he does is right and all his ways are just.” And those who walk in pride He is able to humble (Daniel 4:37). The Babylonian kingdom was eventually destroyed as depicted in Daniel’s vision.
Saddam Hussein who ruled as a despot in modern-day Iraq, was likened to his predecessor.  Saddam’s pride in his accomplishments led to his downfall, a repeat of the Nebuchadnezzar’s reign.  Many of the Babylonian king’s architectural feats have been excavated, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon have been partially restored under Saddam’s rule in modern-day Iraq.  He would have attained building the entire structural splendor of antiquity on different levels of raised, elevated gardens with plants, bushes, trees blooming with flowers had not the US with UK invaded Iraq in March, 2003, in retaliation to the devastating attacks they suspected a group of terrorist Arabs had inflicted on the Twin Towers of New York on September 9, 2001, killing several thousands of people.  We shall not dwell long on the 9/11 attacks on the American people and properties which turned out to be life-changing for the US and its economy, and that of the world markets, for we know the rest of the story.
In the light of human evolution, it was time for the American Eagle to fly out of its aerie to seek redress to assess the grave dangers lurking on the ground particularly in the Mesopotamian region of the Middle East where the Civilization of Man had taken deep roots.
The following verse is from the Koran, the Islamic Bible: For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair, still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah (Koran (9:11)    And there was peace (note the verse number)
The Iraq regime was suspected then to be harboring weapons of mass destruction, which turned out to be negative, but the suspicion served as a valid reason for coming in to change the destiny of Iraq and the Levant or the lands surrounding it.  Left to his own devices, Saddam could have restored significant parts of ancient Mesopotamia for us modern humans to behold.  Architectural beauty coming from the roots of Assyrian civilization, you now can see in the Emirates that have sparkling ultra-modern cities—Doha, Dubai, Qatar, Abu Dhabi.  I suspect the Assyrian-Babylonian empire-builders are back again…
Nebuchadnezzar has returned! Simply because I feel his presence now as I write J
In 2014, the Americans are back to intervene in the Iraq turmoil when the Iraqis screamed for Help America!  Confronting the IS (Islamic State) while it is violently pushing its way to create a “caliphate” on the northern Iraq border with Syria which is already embroiled in a bloody civil war, President Obama responded on another level of the unending debate in keeping world peace. US President Obama, a recipient of the Nobel Prize for peace, differs from Republican Bush’s war strategy of “strike and be awed…”   There will “be no boots on the ground,” upon President Obama’s mandate  preventing a repeat of history when thousands of US troops were killed in battle in Iraq between  2003-2010, also in Afghanistan
But just as well air strikes would be in operation to support the beleaguered men below so the enemy cannot advance and count on a haven to stay.  Later the US led coalition forces will have to investigate how the IS is funded by sympathetic Islamic sheiks.  It’s the Iraqis or Syrians who must do the work of achieving sectarian harmony on the ground, gradually dissolving a dangerous religious duality (Sunni-Shiite in Islamic Middle East) that has long plagued these tribal peoples over the past centuries of battling with each other.
In warfare, they would be guided by US and coalition forces as military advisers.  Everything now must be done shoulder-to-shoulder in a working alliance with other countries easing out the old, nay ancient nagging mistrust of a perceived conqueror by a potential conquered slave, as witnessed in a long destructive history of wars brought about by the Assyrian-Babylonian-Persian cradle-holders of civilization in a near-eastern-western expansive space of the world
Humanity has experienced unspeakable human suffering, degradation, and destruction of being displaced from their homes in big programs,   through the savagery, and brutality of empire–builders.

History, from human experience, may have started with the earliest recorded cuneiform writings on clay tablets.  History has a thread that may twist, snap, or hang but it is never broken.  In its invisible form as spirit, as spirit and matter are one, they only differ in terms of levels.  Matter appears to have a continuing but subtle movement gliding with octopus-like grasping tentacles indicative of lust for power.  If in the past millennia BC (before Christ) we have seen an increasing drive  to grab lands for building villages, cities, vassals, then empires, in AD (after death of Christ) the life-force continues to be an invisible thread, signifying a thrust for power for change, but the thrust for alteration is never permanent as addressed by thinkers who clamor for their followers to believe in nothing but change, to lay claim on nothing,  for there’s nothing permanent here, and impermanence is its secret doctrine.  To enjoy the secret doctrine which is impermanence, consider all problems as solved, there’s only a passing bliss, for there’s only impermanence. It will never be a real thing.  Truth is, what appears to pass, has only passed  on to take another phase, moving to spiral to another level, a higher level, a higher dimension .  For there is nothing here but energy and energy never dies, it is never destroyed, it only changes its level.
In yesterday’s old world the Assyrian warriors built empires based on conquest and the conquered were slaves.  In today’s new world, the warriors have changed their names, they now build corporate financial empires based on stocks, banks, malls, hotels, inns, real estates of middle class and financial-empire-people.  Meanwhile the poor are hungry; their children are dying of malnourishment.  In today’s government we see officials getting suck in a vortex of bloody corruption to fulfill their lust for more wealth dismissing fear of getting caught and charged for plunder in court.
As if our troubles today are not multi-layered enough we have to see a repeat of history occurring in the Assyrian-based Middle East psychological make-up at the hands of extremist Islamic groups driven by a barbaric force to do repulsive, barbaric acts of genocide in places condemned by them in the name of a deity. Their war machine is constructed to appear impregnable boosted by propaganda on social media scripted by radicalized Islamic converts coming from Europe, England, Canada, Australia and, except for the ebola-stricken west Africa, Sudan.   In Syria, they get mixed up in a four- year civil war of terrorist groups battling Assad and each other, but not like the IS that’s sanctifying their bloody mission as a holy war or jihad. Such is the case of ISIL, meaning, Islamic state and Levant. “Levant” refers to the surrounding states that still need to be conquered by them.
The Laws of the Universe are immutable, unchanging, infinite, and  have to be worked out now on earth, like it or not, through a final realization and practice of equality among humans, on all levels, social, economic, judicial,  defense, for a golden age of Aquarius to succeed, or fail. But it’s enough that we attain Balance, by rendering service while we enjoy our comfort zone, on top of it is Reverence for life in Nature, in the rivers, lakes, oceans, mountains and valleys, air kept pure and fresh… In human relations, we look for dignity in womanhood as they are the mothers of the world who take care of the growth and education of children, supported by their fathers, and together with the youth as well as the maturing  population, and especially in our intellectual and spiritual pursuits we  continue to grow.  There’s no graduation from reading, learning, reading again, for acquiring wisdom is for life…

What a great read!!! Very informative and insightful! As an observant, I have the rare opportunity to live with and experience first-hand how people survive in this part of the world…with the grace and protection of God I may add. Amazingly, the people here have thrived in spite of the harshness of their environment...even to the point of calling it 'heaven on earth.’ I guess that's why God is always chastising them...from their Middle Eastern pride...since they know they are of a rich ancient civilization. :)
