THE JESUS FACTOR
As our species evolve with new cultural ways, old security blankets have to go. 2011is the Year of the Mother. It will be the year which will bring forth the change to everyone who is willing to transcend -- to give rebirth for a new world consciousness that the Mother wants to give birth to. The Sun in 0 Cancer trines Neptune retrograde in Pisces which is conjunct Chiron on 5 Pisces and Moon in 10 Pisces has just passed over Neptune. It says it’s time to heal our separation from Spirit (Neptune) and the way to do it is to open our hearts. The Moon (the heart, and motherhood) conjunct Neptune/Chiron) (Spirit and healing)in the Summer Solstice chart of 2011 asks for it.
Now at the end of a beautiful spring season, the end of dominant cruelty in the form of human trafficking (kidnapped kids, and women sold as sex slaves) as well as the collective oppression of people under the rulership of disguised absolute monarchs (after monarchy has been abolished by the French Revolution in the eighteenth century) is coming to an end. This year 2011 will create a lot of clashes, a lot of conflicts, in society, inside governments, inside corporations, inside financial institutions.
The Moon with Chiron/Neptune means we are all healers of the spiritual heart, and it will be the time of female revolt in close relationships. This means the men have to stop “warring and whoring,” because the Goddess Mother refuses anymore a male- dominant abuse of women. Knowing the power of the Goddess with the Moon in Cancer making three eclipses between June 1 to July 1, this year, we will see this aspect played out through the weather as hurricanes. Heavy, intermittent rains bring unprecedented floods and landslides that bury human settlements where mountainous areas have been denuded of trees. Using Jupiter as the focus in the Summer Solstice chart, this great god of abundance, sextiles the Sun in Cancer (sign of the Mother) and Neptune/Chiron trines Pluto in Capricorn gives us a really dynamic configuration that offers huge physical support for the great process of letting go of everything we have ever known or experienced. Our belief in ourselves as a species (Sun) and as the source of our survival comes by connecting to the Source (God). The Jesus Factor. Whether it’s Jesus, Buddha or Mother Mary, we can do it by activating our intuitive healing of hearts and minds. With Jupiter in Taurus planet of divine abundance in the sign of abundance in harmonious trine with Pluto in Capricorn, universal force of transformation both in earth signs, we are reminded that the biological structures of Earth that have gone almost extinct and then rejuvenated many times and so life has continued to evolve.
BUSH, AND THE AGE OF AQUARIUS
At this juncture, we are reminded of President George W Bush, 43rd President of the US between 2001 and 2009 of America who worked to define the challenging process of rejuvenating Mother Earth under the newly arrived “Age of Aquarius” by staging a war that was like no other war ever recorded in world history. Prophesied ages before, as the clash of civilizations, the Iraq war was done on one hand to avenge the horrendous tragedy of thousands of Americans who died when the NY Twin Towers were hit on Sept 11, 2001 by jet planes, on the other hand to send aid and missions to heal the afflicted in the course of conflict, at the same time rejuvenate the spiritual life of the people in the middle east perhaps by bringing in democratic ideals.
But it goes into deeper levels. With Arab women hidden in heavy black veils
living restricted lives in the Middle East and having no voice in socio-political issues of society, George W Bush felt this was ill-intended, for women, the mothers of the world to be deprived of their inalienable rights as humans to be free regardless of race, nationality, and creed as purported by democracy. The aspect of freedom here is involved in a mad disarray of intentions. On one hand, the Americans and allies are displaying anger and ego, an arrogant pride of displaying awesome force with bombs. On the other hand, they have a humanitarian intent of sending aid and missions to heal and rebuild the collaterally damaged areas, and a serious concern for rectifying a particular fundamentalist cultural mindset with what they feel is a distorted religious view of protecting the female against potential male sexual attack and abuse while strangling the divine Goddess in a woman by a denial of her human rights to be treated with reverence and dignity, and enjoy equal rights with the male of the species. But we must move on.
We will see how the distortion of motives that began in 2003 will play out in the Summer Solstice chart of 2011, eight years later. This is very musical like an early medieval madrigal as seen by astrologer Barbara Hand Clow while I sit tense observing with bated breath a space-time continuum of lunar cycles that originated in the “Strike at Iraq” chart of March 21, Spring Equinox of 2003, forming into an impressive but challenging T squares and Grand Square. Engaged in multiple aspects, its agenda is to seek comfort, joy, security and nurturance with the Sun in Cancer amidst chaos, economic collapse, feeling its power because it resonated freely with Mars in 0 Gemini and the Sun is expanded and stabilized by a sextile to Jupiter in Taurus, sign of abundance. Then Uranus comes in suddenly to kick the Sun in the rear by a square from Uranus in Aries supported by other planets all in fiery Aries concerned with making Changes. We see how luck is so shifty at this time of the Shift from the old paradigms that no longer work, as Uranus now sits at the top of a T square, opposing Pluto. This tense T square will make everyone on earth realize that the classic old ways of the third dimension are not coming back without people undergoing a transmutation of their genes or DNAs in the process of purifying their intentions or desires.
INTENTION IS THE KEY
Meanwhile let’s see how George W Bush as chief executive of the US made crucial decisions that led to his transformation as a human and at the same time as US President linking him to the world, to the larger range of vast humanity that believes in freedom.
EJ Donne, author of ‘Sacred Places, Civic Purposes,’ when he heard GW Bush speak of his relationship with God through Christ as giving him meaning and direction, said: “The interest in religion is not made up. It has to do with Bush’s self-presentation and what he thinks he is about.” When Donne asked the young Bush then Governor of Texas what he wanted to do in his life. His answer came – “I believe that God wants me to be president.”
In the Iraq War chart of March 21, Spring Equinox of 2003, Jupiter stands on 8 degrees Leo in the 9th house of God, higher learning, foreign countries, and symbolized by “The Burning Bush.” What it means in Latin is -- benedictum per manum dicentem galadictus adumbratur, an esoteric sentence of E. Levi’s “Dogma and Ritual of High Magic.” As above so underneath, Hermes principle from the “Emerald Table.” I was struck by the apparent inner connection of this Hermes cosmological principle to George Bush’ instinctive desire to do his mission on earth as a US president.
On Jan 19, 1999, Bush and his family attended a private church service in Austin, Texas. The service was a Texan tradition and the minister’s sermon was taken from the book of Exodus. He talked to his audience about how God had called on Moses to lead his people. He said that Moses had been unsure of himself, uncertain that he was the right man for the task. Later that day Bush would be sworn in for his second term as governor. He had won the election in a landslide and was now one of the most popular governors in the country. GWB’s political promise suddenly seemed boundless and talk had began of a possible run for the presidency.
In the gospel “Exodus,” the minister said that Moses tried to beg off it, saying, “Oh no, not me, you want somebody else. You know I am busy, I’ve got a family, I’ve got a speech impediment. Like Moses, initially, GWB’s prospect of living up to his illustrious pedigree were dim. As a child he even had dyslexia, a kind of speech defect, but it was eventually corrected. Bush proved to be floundering until he turned forty, he admitted to a drinking problem in his youth, but a late marriage to Laura Welch helped stabilized him. His rebirth as a believing Christian (he is a Methodist) in 1986 helped put him on the straight and narrow path that led him to the Presidency. At the end of the minister’s talk on the gospel of Moses having encountered the “Burning Bush” in the biblical passage, Bush, followed that by saying, “the country’s hungry for leadership.”
He felt indeed he was ready for the presidency after winning a second term as Governor of Texas in a landslide. The fact that George WB happens to be named “Bush” is a curious synchronistic adjunct to an ancient biblical data that elates you to glow with a smile at this time of the Shift. Surely, the original Hebrew text didn't refer the "burning bush" to George Dubya Bush, you'd say. But who knows? It's the 21st century and English would naturally fit the space-time continnum of life of biblical etymology as it has evolved into a universal language. Nothing happens by accident. Time exists only in the eternal Now.
In a highly spiritual horoscope this zodiac degree’s influence will endow the native (GWB) with the power of heavenly fire surging forth with ardor unquenchable, unsullied and all-consuming.( Aside)
Indeed, Bush was feeling like surging forth with ardor unquenchable. When his people and the world’s objection to the war in Iraq rose to loud aggressive sounds to stop him, he didn’t budge, and went forth to tell his soldiers to stay the course. "His ardor remained unsullied and unquenchable" as spoken in the 8 degrees Leo of the Iraq war chart. To his interlocutors, he said, like Jesus Christ, ”If you are not with me, you are against me..." His addition to the biblical admonition: "You are with the terrorists“ During a presidential debate, the moderator asked the candidates what political philosophy or thinker they most identify with. Steve Forbes answered: John Locke, Alan Keyes, the Founding Fathers. GWB said: Christ, because he changed my life.
To continue with the esoteric symbol of the “burning bush”, I'd like to call your attention to its light. Its light will be hidden from the sight of the unworthy and may even stay invisible to most eyes or escape notice altogether. In the bush blazing with unearthly flame much too human beings will fail to see the light of the Absolute and will only be alive to the fact that the thorns in the bush sting anyone attempting to violate its mystery.
As we are confronted with the collossal drama of clashing civilizations of diametrically opposing polarities as embodied in rigidity of principles by the existing contesting powers on earth at this time of The Shift in Consciousness, as Above and so Underneath, as projected by the cosmic principle of Hermes, ruler of the intellect, I pray, stay the course and focus on the unfolding of the this unfathomable "mystery."
Indeed, there was too much objection to Bush’s intent to carry on with their stay in Iraq. The people of Iraq were actually divided, but those who felt the good effect of messianic Bush’s vision of wanting to 'democratize' Iraq wanted the Americans to stay until they were more certain of what they really needed in the miidst of change, more mature and made secure in a freer society by their own security forces.
Whether heavenward or earthbound, such a mind will be ruled rather by instinct than by reason. His spirit of justice and honesty, his sense of unalloyed integrity and fairness, would often entitle the native (GWB) to a social status than he occupies. When asked by the debate moderator how people would like to know more on how Christ has changed his heart.
GWB answered: Well, if they don’t know, it’s going to be hard to explain. Faith gives us concerns to keep us honest even when no one else is watching. And faith can change lives, I know, because faith changed me.
We all know that GWB became the 43rd President of the United States despite many obstacles. As Doug Wead, adviser to President GWBush said, “The message
did come home. My God, you could win the White House with nothing but evangelicals…and “his ideas on God and government,” says another media man who covered the President’s tour at one time, said: “He is by most accounts, the most openly religious president in generations.”
From his own personal troubles with alcohol, his marriage, etc., in the Fall of 1985, George WB joined a bible study group. This started him on the straight and narrow path. Mark Leaventon said: “Bush has been given so much in his life. He was from a privileged family with powerful business and political connections, a fortune that goes back generations. But very little had gone well in Bush’s own. When he came (to the bible group study), it was noteworthy. It was always neat to me because I thought, Isn’t that wonderful? Here’s a guy who has so much in his life, and yet he has a need, just like I do.”
When Sept 11 2001 came to change America, the self-help Methodist George W Bush, became now a messianic American Calvinist speaking of “the Mission of America.” He states: In every generation, the world has produced enemies of human freedom. They have attacked America because we are freedom’s home and defender, and the commitment of our fathers is now the calling of our time.” On another occasion, he said: “We will rid the world of evil-doers. We have never seen this kind of evil before (referring to the Sept 11, 2001 bombing of Twin Towers in NY) But the evil-doers have never seen the American people in actual action before, and they’re bound to find out. Thank you all very much.” Read more.
“Ours is the cause of human dignity. The idea of America is the hope of all mankind. That hope drew millions to this harbor (referring to the harbor of Statue of Liberty, a gift from the French government that toppled absolute monarchy during its own Revolution) that still lights our way. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it.”
“Now all of a sudden, it’s meant to be America as a beacon of light to the world. It’s no longer about the word of God (being conscious of all kinds of thinkers, Christian, non-Christian, skeptics, atheists, non-believers), the light of Christ, it’s about us. It’s about we being the hope of the world.” As Christ is within us, then so be it.
