SOPHIA -- ETERNALLY RECURRING CYCLES

Aldous Huxley called the Primordial Tradition, the “perennial philosophy.” An ageless wisdom that Coomaraswamy preferred to call Sophia – the eternal and universal wisdom, perennis et universalis. Perennial means “eternally recurring” or rebirthing after dying. That means, even though the ancient wisdom of the Mahatmas from India, as Helena Blavatsky calls them as her teachers, may be forgotten, they will inevitably resurface. They are resurfacing in books of ancient origins by Blavatsky, et al, as seriously pondered upon, debated and discussed by her scholastically-inclined readers, students, as well as devoted followers of the Theosophical Society, world-wide.

The Primordial Tradition is thus not something invented by human beings. The universal principles within the Primordial Tradition are those found in ancient sacred sciences, for example, the geometrical cosmology of the ancient Hindus, and ancient Egyptians, based on the square root-principles of 2, 3, and 5. Based in eternal universal principles, it has always been what it is, being left for human beings to discover. Later to be integrated as guiding principles in man’s creation of social, religious, and political institutions. Today, modern civilization is out of touch as it is, with the Primordial Tradition. Modern man’s institutions are based in man-made ideals, and derived from a degenerative process of increasing alienation from our transcendent ancient origins.

It is this devolution as against evolution, that removes us, humanity, from the intimate vicinity of our Source, and Center bringing us to a wasteland of alienation called Kali Yuga.

LIGHT IS THE MISSING INGREDIENT -- Saint Germaine

Dearly beloved: It is my joy, my great hope to offer all the opportunity to break the bonds that keep humanity trapped in endless time cycles or circles of going around and around on a merry-go-round out of the endless struggle against other people or against a totalitarian system, an overlord who claims to save the people but cannot deliver on that promise. Pause. Why can't these earthly dictators like the ones we see in Syria and other countries that are sinking in their capitalist or communist systems (Pause) including those in-between like our own local government here, not deliver on their promise? Because they do not have the light. Sophia is the Light. The Light is Spirit. And 2012 brings the age of the Spirit. Pause. Let's first get introduced to Sophia -- Wisdom -- Spirit.

THE POWER OF SILENCE.
THE MIND OF THE UNIVERSE.

A Gnostic writing, called the Great Announcement, quoted by Hippolytus in his Refutation of All Heresies in a Christian setting explains the origin of the universe as follows: From the power of silence appeared ‘a great power, the Mind of the Universe, which manages all things, and is male…. The other … a great intelligence … is a female which produces all things. This is Mind in Intelligence, and these are separable from one another, and yet are one; found in a state of duality.

In addition to the eternal, mystical Silence and the Holy Spirit, certain Gnostics suggest a characteristic of the divine Mother: as Wisdom. Here the Greek feminine term for ‘wisdom’, Sophia, translates a Hebrew feminine term, hokhmah. Early interpreters of the meaning of certain Biblical passages – for example, the saying in Proverbs that ‘God made the world in Wisdom. Could Wisdom be the feminine power in which God’s creation was ‘conceived’? According to one teacher, the double meaning of the term conception – physical and intellectual – suggests this possibility: The image of thought is feminine, since …. (it) is a power of conception. The Apocalypse of Adam, discovered at Nag Hammadi, tells of a feminine power who wanted to conceive by herself:

…from the nine Muses, one separated away. She came to a high mountain and spent time seated there, so that she desired herself alone in order to become androgynous. She fulfilled her desire, and became pregnant from her desire…

This is a theme from the famous myth about Wisdom as told to us by the poet Valentinus. Desiring to conceive by herself apart from her masculine counterpart (as she is both masculine-feminine in nature) she succeeded and became the ‘great creative power from all things originate,’ often called Eve, Mother of all living,’ what she produced was aborted and defective, says Valentinus, originated the terror that mar human existence. To shape and manage her creation, Valentinus continues, Wisdom brought forth the demiurge, the creator-God of Israel, as her agent. Note: for discussion and references, see Elaine Pagels, The Gnostic Gospels ‘The Demiurge and his Archons.’

Wisdom, named Sophia, then, bears the several connotations in gnostic sources governing creation. She is the ‘first universal creator’ who brings forth all creatures. Besides that, she also enlightens human beings and makes them wise.

Followers of Valentinus and Marcus therefore prayed to the Mother as the ‘mystical eternal Silence’ and to ‘Grace. She, who is before all things,’ is Wisdom for insight (gnosis). She is Silence, Grace, and Wisdom.

First, she taught them, Adam and Eve, how to get the benefits or blessings reserved for them in Paradise. Second, she guided them to find food. Third, she assisted in the conception of their third son Seth, and first daughter Norea, after having Abel and Cain. Even more, when the Father-creator became angry with the human race
because they did not worship him as Father and God, he sent forth a flood upon them, that might destroy them all. But Wisdom opposed him… and Noah and his family were saved in the ark by means of the sprinkling of the light that proceeded from her and through it the world was again filled with humankind.

Pagels: Another newly discovered text from Nag Hammadi, Trimorphic Protennoia (literally meaning, Triple-formed Primal Thought), celebrates the feminine powers of Thought, Intelligence and Foresight. The text opens as a divine figure speaks:

(I) am (Protennoia the) Thought that (dwells) in (the Light) … (she who exists before the All…I move in every creature… I am the Invisible One within the All.

She continues: ‘I am perception and knowledge, uttering a Voice by means of Thought. (I) am the real Voice. I cry out in everyone, and they know that a seed dwells within. The second section, spoken by a second divine figure, opens with the words.

I am the Voice… (it is) I (who) speak within every creature… Now I have come a second time in the likeness of a female and have spoken with them… I have revealed myself in the Thought of likeness of my masculinity.

Later the voice explains:

I am androgynous. (I am both Mother and) Father since (I copulate) with myself (and with those who love) me… I am the Womb (that gives shape) to the All… I am Me (iroth)ea, the glory of the Mother.

Spoken by a feminine power, here follows a further explanation as to this mystery in a remarkable gnostic poem called the ‘Thunder, Perfect Mind.’ And I advise the orthodox Christian reader to be open-minded and be an open door for the Light to flow and work on, as it is not you or I who is the doer, it is the spirit. So we all can be Silent, be filled with Grace, and Wisdom of the Mother. We need her higher divine attributes to fathom the mystery behind the duality of good and evil without the aid of reason that has plagued the whole human race over the centuries, of eternally recurring cycles. Such a mysteriously designed order aims to bring about the Light and Good residing within Everyman, to make him emerge out of his shadows (things that make him miserable and ill) restoring his original light, peace, love and reverence for all life. And so by embracing his/her shadows he transmutes them in his DNA cellular level called genetic code, into Light and Love, dissolving the hate, anger, envy, jealousy, greed that would ignite violent domestic or regional conflicts and at the extreme, international wars. A paradox can explain conflicts, coming from Albert Einstein -- "Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds." Find a situation in our current political confused situation that rings a bell, hahah. Another paradox and this one tops it: "The only things that interfere with my learning is my education." Einsten was a college dropout remember?

Thus, at Ascension time he re-learns, re-affirms the Peace, Harmony, and Bliss of the unconditional love of his Mother-Father creator he had lost in the dark age of Kali Yuga by restoring first and foremost, his Reverence for all life. And that means understanding the laws of the universe to begin with the Law of karma – cause and effect… as you sow so shall you reap. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. The golden rule applies to male-female relationships in particular because of the I-You tandem. If you do violence to the Other by means of brutality, physical mental or emotional for example, you will get the same dose of medicine for yourself in this life or in the next, owing to the Law, and not to any superior overlord or god.

SOPHIA MEANS A LAWFUL, ORDERLY UNIVERSE

The Universe is governed by Laws, and they are consistently altered to adjust to the incoming higher vibrations of energy obtaining in every level of beingness or cycle of vibrational dimension, as there's nothing here, between the upper-worlds and lower-worlds but Energy, and vibrations. ENERGY CARRIES THE LAW, AND THE LAW REGULATES ENERGY. The higher the energy the higher the vibrations and the higher the vibrations the finer the frequencies that are rising, and thus is the human being so-clothed in frequencies in the etheric realm of Spirit. How does this etheric (light) dimensional frequency which is encoded in your DNA translate into matter? In orthodox Christianity, for example, respect for life naturally translates into respect for women who bring forth life. What's more primal in the order of the universe than that? Respect for the weaker sex if male, is respect for your own mother. Respect for other living forms is to avoid taking them as part of your meals.

For when Gnostic Christianity inquired about the origin of evil they did not interpret the term, as we do, like religious people of every tradition, concern themselves with ideas or symbols of religious and human experience. Such experience remains the source and testing ground for all religious ideas (as for example, a man and a woman are likely to experience differently the idea that God is masculine). Pagels in her book, The Gnostic Gospels, sees Gnosticism and Orthodoxy articulated very different kinds of human experience, appealing to different types of persons.

According to the Gospel of Truth, the process of self-discovery begins as a person experiences the ‘anguish and terror’ of the human condition, as if lost in a fog or haunted in sleep by terrifying nightmares. They say that all materiality was formed from three experiences (or sufferings): terror, pain, and confusion (literally, roadlessness -- not knowing where to go).

They argue that since experiences, especially the fear of death and dissolution, are located in the first place in the body, the Gnostic tended to mistrust the body, regarding it as the saboteur that inevitably engaged him in suffering. Nor did the Gnostic trust the blind forces that prevail in the universe. After all, these are the forces that constitute the body. What can bring release? Gnostics came to the conviction that the only way out of suffering was to realize the truth about humanity’s place and destiny in the universe. Convinced that the only answers are to be found within, the Gnostic engaged on an intensely private journey. Whoever comes to experience his own nature – human nature -- as itself the source of all things, the primary reality, will receive enlightenment. Realizing the essential Self, the divine within, the Gnostic laughed in joy at being released from external constraints to celebrate his identification with the divine being.

Far more than the gnostics, Orthodox Christians were concerned with their relationships with other people, so Elaine Pagels has arrived to a conclusion. If gnostics insisted that humanity's original experience of evil involved internal emotional desires, the orthodox dissented. Humanity discovered evil in violation of the the natural order, itself essentially 'good'. They revised the Mosaic code, which prohibits physical violence of others -- murder, stealing, adultery -- in terms of violence -- in terms of Jesus' prohibition against mental and emotional violence -- anger, lust, hatred. The orthodox Christian saw Christ not as one who leads souls out of this world into enlightenment, but as 'fullness of God' come down into human experience -- into bodily experience -- to sacralize it, to make it sacred.

CHRIST BRINGS LIGHT TO SANCTIFY LIFE --

Irenaeus declares that Christ did not despise or evade any condition of humanity, nor set aside for himself the law which he had appointed for the human race, but sanctified every age ...Origen, the most brilliant theologian of the third century, expressed, although he was himself brought under suspicion of heresy, the orthodox viewpoint when he declared that God would not have offered a way of salvation, BUT a way of life that's not limited only to going to church on Sundays OR DOING RITUALS and then living recklessly the rest of the week, accessible only to an intellectual or spiritual elite. It is accessible to all. Ireneaeus declares that

as the sun, that creature of God, is one and the same throughout the whole world do also the preaching of truth shines everywhere, and enlightens all people who are willing... Nor will any one of the rulers in the churches or in current esoteric camps however gifted he may be in matters of eloquence, teach doctrines different from these. Enlightenment is the goal of all people whether they realize it or not. By adding light to your understanding of the nature of reality, you can gain an uncanny ability to master the challenges of reality, that are often in confused shadows, dark. Jesus Christ is personified Light of the world.

Pagels explains further: Now that the Nag Hammadi discoveries give us a
new perspective on this process, we can understand why certain creative persons throughout the ages, from Valentinus and Heracleon to Blake, Rembrandt, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Nietzsche, found themselves at the edges of orthodoxy. All were fascinated by the figure of Christ -- his birth, life, teachings, death, and resurrection, all returned constantly to Christian symbols to express their own experience. Many love to celebrate Christmas joys because of the bright lights of christmas literally, although in a metaphysical sense, the light we speak of here is not electricity coming from Meralco. And yet the above wirters-thinkers find themselves in revolt against orthodox institutions, at least not without inquiring how that authority constituted itself.

All the old questions are being reopened. How is one to understand the resurrection, for example. This one, I'd like to answer myself in a way connected with the invisible realms of the Spirit, from Sophia herself who is Spirit, Silence, Grace, and Wisdom --studies in metaphysical philosophies would answer this question, perhaps coming from a deeper insight into my being originally a Pleaidian? Hahahah. I also know that once the veils are lifted, most people would probably realize that they come from other planetary constellations that are filled with light. Evidence for this is their nagging interest in getting to know astrology or the planets, having their astrological birthcharts read, to understand the sacred contracts they signed up with the karmic board before returning to incarnate. And I got this from a channeled source -- that when Jesus Christ was born in a manger built to house animals at night, the rays of light that shone from the holy infant covered such a wide radius, waking the sleeping shepherds out in the field, as to make the three Magi called astrologers from planet Sirius, rush to bring gifts symbolic of his mission on earth and something to contain the Holy baby's light within the immediate site of his birth place (source: The Pleidian Agenda by Barbara Hand Clow).

Obviously, the law of earth's gravity couldn't hold him down that long if you will allow a limited imagination to extend beyond the visible material realms. Similarly, in death, his tendency to resurrect comes naturally, since there's nothing on this third earthly dimension that could hold him down that long from rising from the death state ... Remember the time on Mount Tabor when Jesus suddenly was transfigured into radiating 9th dimension light lifting him off the ground, with Moses and Elijah appearing next to him. The Transfiguration of Jesus is an event reported in the New Testament in which Jesus is transfigured and becomes radiant upon a mountain. The Synoptic Gospels (Matthew 17:1-9, Mark 9:2-8, Luke 9:28-36) describe it, and 2 Peter 1:16-18 refers to it.
